ROGUES-THE TOP 5 REASONS YOUR GAME IS BELOW A 1.00 IN ANY GAME MODE!

As we all know, Call of Duty-Modern Warfare 3 has two Team Deathmatch (TDM) style games and seven Objective Based (OB) game modes, both in Core and Hardcore. Along with these games, you have your Community Lobbies (CL) respectively.

What we will cover is the reason that 90% of the gaming community has a Kill to Death Ratio (KDR) of .75-95 and how you can up your game to get to that 1.00 and above KDR.

The fact is simple. “Never go negative.” It’s that simple, NGN as my community calls it.

But, herein lies the problem. Of that 90% of gamers who play, most are soloists aka “The Rambo”. This is the gamer that gets into a lobby and does their own thing. They don’t care about what the mode is, they don’t care about the team, they don’t care period and can really bring a lobby down. Most of the time, Rambo is that gamer who goes consistently in the red. Meaning, he will be the one with the two to three times negative KDR in a game. It doesn’t matter how many bombs you plant or headquarters you capture. Why? Because if you’re going so deep in the negative, you’re allowing the other team to get killstreak after killstreak after killstreak, get my point? This is especially frustrating in the Ground War mode. Because the lobby is basically 1.5 times as large as a 6v6 and two times as large as a Team Tactical (Pros play at the Team Tactical level 4v4).

When you’re in this type of lobby, this can be frustrating. Let’s take myself for example, in the world rankings I am in the top 1% in both Core Team Deathmatch and Hardcore Killconfirmed, top 5% in the Hardcore TDM, and 25% in other modes (I rarely play other modes then mentioned, because I’m not in what they call the OB Mindset. Why? Because the objective to TDM and KC to me is just winning the game. Whether it be by 1000 points (1 Kill), or 1 Dog Tag (DT) in HXKC. So in essence, yes, TDM and KC are OB game modes, and we who go to say a Domination or Demolition or Capture the Flag lobby, usually end up with a high KD. Now, you say, “But HORSE? How do you go into a lobby with this mindset? Do you follow the same tactics you do in TDM or KC?” “No, we have our tactics and our strategies to effectively spawn trap, but the bigger challenge to us in say, Domination, is to “DOMINATE” meaning, maintain all captured points. That is, if we play it. And we rarely do. When we do though, we utilize our team work to win the match. If not, hey, we were beaten by the better team.

So, with that said, let’s cover some simple ways for you, the non-clan, rogue, and independent out there who runs into a team like ours. You’re gonna get fucked up. Plain and simple. Now sometimes, we have run solo and I’m going to show you what one guy can do to a clan in a total “rogue” lobby, and when you see my final score, because of my game play, we won the match and the rogues I was running with even sent me messages like “Hey Horse, that was some really great play./Can I join your clan?/Wow Horse Six Zero you kicked their ass!/and the best one-It was so cool to get them out of party chat to come into game chat and you shut them up! You’re a cool gamer Horse.”

-A little about THE CLAC CLAN-

I have nine members in my clan. And we have many others in reserve who do not have Elite accounts, so when a clan member isn’t available to run, we can bring them in and get the game won.

In my clan, we have a combined KDR of 2.52:1, our highest slayer has a 4.41 overall and a 4.55 in the TDM lobby. Our combined accuracy is over 19% on average. Meaning, we don’t fire until we see the target and know we can hit that target. Me personally (hilarious stat btw, and I’m sure there are others with more than myself out there), I’m the only gamer in my clan to have fired over 1 million rounds. My accuracy is a respective 16.67 right now. I used Blind Eye Pro (aka Stopping Power Pro from Modern Warfare 2) and shoot down anything I can get my sights on. I’m not going to get into statistics about us why? Stats are stats, what matters is that in the TDM and Kill Confirmed universe, you NGN. Pure and simple.

OKAY ROGUES-LISTEN UP!
Here are the Top 5 Reasons your game is garbage.

5. You don’t have or use your headset.
The headset is the most important piece of gaming gear there is when it comes to online gaming. In real life (IRL), fire teams move out in coordinated and synchronized movements. This is what we call shoot, move, and communicate. It’s the first rule of all combat, digital or IRL. You have to have communications. Without commo, you’re dead. Plain and simple. You’re dead. In game or IRL. Without it, you can’t call out to a team member where the bad guy is. We’re not mind readers. The only way I can engage an opponent if I’m on the move with you and you go down, and I get killed, I’m gonna holler in my mic, “PUT YOUR FUCKING HEADSET ON JACKASS!” This is why when I’m running solo, that SITREP Pro is my best friend. With SITREP Pro on, I hear their footsteps and can triangulate their position and possibly flank them to save your non-headset wearin’ ass! Without a headset, you really don’t need to be playing this game. Period. You get me killed and I’ll troll your ass the entire game. I’ve done this before and have pissed them off so badly that they backed out. BTW, I have a standing rule. No headset=Avoided for Lacking Skill, because commo is the most important aspect to any 1st person shooter with multiplayer.

4. You’re a Garbage Ass Split-Screener (GASS).
Let me introduce you to the most annoying thing that is right up there with our current presidential administration. The Split-Screener, commonly referred to in our group as “Monkey See/Monkey Do”. I’m going to add some video here so you can how dumb these people are. They think “Hey, just stick together and run together we’ll be alright!” SURVEY SAYS! WROOOOOOOOOOONG! WITH A BIG OLE “X” FOR ONE STRIKE! I’m sure you’ve run into them and after you sit there with your controller in hand, mouth agape, and screaming at them for their amazingly terribly gameplay.
Want to see why GASS suck at this game? CLICK HERE

3. You have zero sense of any tactics whatsoever.
I don’t know how many times I’ve heard this at the end of any match, “XXGamerXX, you went 12-47? No wonder we lost, you didn’t grab any flags, tags, points, etc. in an OB environment or see Item 1.

Item 1-How the fuck we won this game, is beyond me. My teammates and I accounted for 5900 of our points while surrendering only 1200 points. As you can by the OUTSTANDING PLAY of these GARBAGE ASS GREEN TRIANGLES, they gave up 6100 points. SIXTY-ONE HUNDRED POINTS! THIS! IS WHAT THE FUCK I’M TALKING ABOUT! WHEN I SAY IN TEAM DEATHMATCH THAT TACTICS WILL BEAT OUT RUN AND GUN ANYFUCKCINGDAYOFTHEWEEK! And if you find going 4-22 and 4-19 a good game, you’d better put down the controller and punch yourself right in the dick and not have children. You should be castrated so your idiot seed cannot infect the rest of the world. As you can see on the other side, they should have won this game. But, because of clutch play by myself and my teammates, we won. This shows that being non tactically sound will get you fucked in this game. And until you learn tactics, in ANY GAME MODE, you will always have a KDR NLT .85. PERIOD!

4. You have zero gun 1 v 1 gunfight skills.
As you can see above, if you can’t hit your target, you’re not going to kill  your target. Digital Rifle Marksmanship is the most important way to win a gunfight online. Whether it’s using the “Man-Dance”, where you’re cutting the pie to ducking and jiving to using a drop shot, to having the proficiency “Focus” on your class (most pros use Focus to stay on target longer after being struck (as I do too).

Now a good gamer using tactics, commo, and has a high accuracy will do well in a 1v1 or 1v2 situation (See my video, above, for basically some really nice 1v1 v 2 v 3 gunfights that I’d won. When I get in a 1v1 situation, my first option is the drop shot, if the opponent has the drop shot on me and IW/SH actually incorporated the diving lunge (SEE EVERY OTHER FPS VICE MW FOR THIS!), you could dive away from danger but “Nooooooooo!”, you can lose a gunfight this very way. Especially in Hardcore where you’re at 30% percent vice 100% strength for Core.

(I really need to put together a YouTube video series on this.)

5. Is it just me or are they very sore losers?
The one thing I look at least twice a month is my “Rep” or “Online Reputation”. I look at it and the biggest percentage is my “Unsportsmanlike” statistic. Currently, I have a 76% avoided me for that very reason. Why? Because I’m a mobile rifleman/SMGunner. My tactic is to engage, displace, and reengage tactic.

Here’s how it works:
Let’s take this game for instance okay? Look at Item 2.

Item 2.-Now let’s look at this okay? I wish I could load the game, but I don’t have a game recorder. I started out with an MP7 with an RDS. Then I picked up this guy’s P90.
Here was my load out for this game:
Primary: MP7 w/RDS
Secondary: TMP9 (until I picked up this P90)

Lethal: Bouncing Betty
Tactical: Trophy System

Proficiency: Kick
Perks:
Blind Eye Pro
Assassin Pro
SITREP Pro

Strike Package-Assault
5-Predator Missile

7-Attack Helicopter
12-Pavelow

As you can see RussMaster2299 was my victim, he gave my team and I 900 points.
On the video at 8:34, I wasn’t even going for a MOAB and was shot in the back taking out my 24th kill. Had I not gotten dropped, I’d have got it. Once again, I was not going for a MOAB. Had I got it though, it would have been a NON-SPECIALIST MOAB.
When I was taken out, at that time, I was 28-1 a 28:1 KDR, meaning, I’d killed the entire team FOUR TIMES PLUS FOUR when I went down.
How did I do this, I used SITREP Pro to my advantage. I just stalked. The problem was, for them, the average gamer will get into a mode called the “I’m gonna get that sumbitch!” mentality. See how Russ was my victim? He wanted me in a bad way. So he kept falling into my gameplan. When the game was over, guess who was the final kill cam, yep, Russ, who got him? I DID!

When the match was over, he blew up my inbox. I received 10 text/voicemails from him, 20 in all. Camper this and camper that. I replied to him after the 20th message and told him this as I tell all sore losers “Dude, go on Elite, check out the Heat Map, every death you got from me is somewhere on that map. Your problem is that you fell into my game plan. I got in your head and took you and your teammates out of whatever gameplan you randoms had.”

Two days later he sent another voicemail. “Hey man, I’m sorry, you whupped my whole team’s ass in that game. Good job. I can respect how you played.”

He went from being an ass to being a humbled gamer by doing as I said.

The biggest problem with the Garbage Player is that they get so angry about losing they need to feel better about themselves by sending you “Hater mail”. I embrace it. I love getting it. It makes me laugh.

BUT! If you remember at the beginning of this blog, the -EX- Clan sent me physical violence and threatening emails/voicemails to my inbox. They stopped after I told them they’d all been reported to XBL and IW/SH and I sent my address to them as well.
“Come on by, bring an Army though. I have enough ammo for the Zombie Apocolypse, watch who you talk to online. You never know who you might meet. Remember -EX- Clan, there’s someone bigger and meaner than you out there in real life.

I ended up trolled them about taking on my clan, they declined. Why? Because they knew they were going up against a far superior clan after looking at our clan page.

They are the epitome of a sore loser and they’re garbage too.

This blog is over, why? Because I hate garbage players in COD MW3. Now that I’ve said my piece, I feel a lot better. If you don’t like what I’ve written, piss off. Welcome to the 1st Amendment!

WHAT TYPE OF MW3 PLAYER ARE YOU?

From the following list, please choose the play style(s) that best describe the type of CoD player you usually are. So instead of saying Camper this or camper that, everyone has their own unique playing style. Which one are you?
You may choose up to three play styles, but please do not choose more than three and please be honest.

Solo Warrior:
On the radar, your arrow is usually far away from your teammates. That's because while your team is getting mercilessly slaughtered by the enemy team, you're making your way into the area where all the enemies are. Your SITREP Pro detects the traps littered around, so you destroy them, alerting the enemy. That's when you strike and start your own massacre. You don't care about wins or loses, just you.

Run & Gun:
Always on the move, running and gunning and surviving. You don't like to be in one place for too long. You are the complete opposite of the Happy Camper.

Happy Camper:
On the battlefield, all you do is camp. There's no running around, no traveling, no ambushing the enemy.
You wait until they come to you, you snipe from your camping position, whatever. There's no other tactic you know, but camping. The complete opposite of the Run & Gunner and a better player than the CAMPISMAXIMUS (see below).

Silent Assassin:
You lurk in the shadows and are above average at knifing. You have a silenced weapon to go with your Stalker Pro and you also like ambushing the enemy and killing them from behind. You also probably like playing Search & Destroy.

Ninja:
You like getting to know your enemy because using a gun just isn't personal enough. You have mastered the arts of Bōryaku (tactics), Chi-mon (geography), Shinobi-iri (stealth and entering methods) and Kenjutsu (sword fighting). Even if you are 30 yards away from your enemy, your knife is your first option. As the old adage goes for  you “Guns are for show, knives are for pros!”

Hardcore Artist:
You enjoy the thrill of realistic warfare and play without the HUD. Hardcore all the way, you excel in a more dangerous environment. You feel that this style of game is how the whole game should be. Killcams? Who the fuck needs a kill cam? You think that Core players have no skill.

Old School Soldier:
You enjoy the pure fun factor of the game, so you play a game mode that most people probably don't play very often. You were disappointed when IW removed the Old School playlists, so now you get your fill in private matches.

Heavy Firepower:
You use LMGs the most and you love using the mounted machine gun, when available. You love running around throwing C-4 at enemy players or RPGing the living daylight out of everyone.

Breathtaker:
You are the king of kill streaks. Whether it’s the common UAV, the rare AC-130 or the 25 Gun Kill MOAB, you call in lots of kill streak rewards and love using them all.

Ruthless Murderer:
It's all about the K/D ratio. Your K/D is insanely high and K/D is the only stat you care about, plain and simple.

Newbius Maximus:
You're new to the Modern Warfare Series and your K/D ratio is under 1.0 (yikes). You're still getting used to the weapons and perks and have only completed a few challenges. You're getting sniped cause you always walk out in the open and you get knifed at least once every match. You also die from Martyrdom because you don't even know what it is.

Elite "Pwner":
You're very much an above average player, you're K/D is always around 2.0. You dictate the game and usually have one of the best K/Ds in your matches. You are also a master of stealth and knife with the best of them.
You're capable of using almost any weapon and you use most of them well.

Sharpshooting Maniac:
Words cannot describe you when you're wielding your sniper rifle. It doesn't matter if it’s a bolt-action or semi-automatic, with a sniper scope or ACOG, as long as it’s a sniper rifle you're popping skulls like there's no tomorrow.

Challenge Fanatic:
You're better than the average player but you're not elite either. You love completing challenges, especially those that involve skill or involve racking up kills. You complete challenges often and are probably one of the more creative on the battlefield.

Hot & Cold:
When you're on a roll you're blazing up the battlefield and no one can touch you, but when you're not you're getting shot left and right. When you're hot you play like the elites, but when you're cold, you look like a newbie.

StyleMeister:
It's not about the kill, it's about how you get the kill. Whether its jumping off a building and no scoping a guy in the head, or throwing a grenade through a small opening, you're all about fanciness. It's all about style for you.

Average Joe:
You're the consistently average Call of Duty player. Your K/D ratio is always around 1.0, but never below it and you have your good days and your bad days. There's almost never a time where you play extremely well and there's almost never a time where you falter badly.

All Talk, No Show:
You trash talk on your headset so much that it drives everyone crazy. You threaten the other team and brag about how good you are with your "insert gun here". However, when you actually get on the battlefield, you're usually the one that's getting owned.

CAMPISMAXIMUS-Translated to English as the rampant Wuss Puss:
You are afraid of death. You squirm when you see blood and you freeze up when you hear gun fire. To avoid all the mayhem, you lay down your Scrambler, place your Claymore and find a nice secluded spot to hide in.
If lady luck is kind to you, you will make it through the entire round without dying.

Team Player:
No matter what, the objective comes first for you and you have a high W/L. Whether you're trying to win Domination matches as quickly as possible or running headlong into an HQ to try and capture it. Even if you have a below average K/D, you find satisfaction in the fact that you helped your team win and you care more about your W/L than your K/D.

Gunsmith:
You'll use whatever gun you think can best get the job done and you don't care what anyone else says. If you think sitting back and sniping will get you the win, you'll snipe. If you think rushing into enemy territory with a shotgun will help the team, you'll do it. If you think the grenade launcher is your best bet, you'll gladly use it. You're also not afraid to mix things up and improvise by picking up other players' guns, or by setting up a class with guns, attachments and perks that you wouldn't normally use.

Calm Tactician:
You are one that is familiar with the battlefield and your "training" keeps you calm. You don't panic when you're all alone and always keep your wits about you. You quickly assess the situation and take the appropriate action(s) in order to achieve victory.

"Faux-leet" (Fo-leet):
You think you are better than you actually are and constantly pull out your pistol, usually a Desert Eagle. You also chase down people to knife them when a good bullet to the back of the head will work. However you usually end up getting knifed or shot yourself.

Carefree:
You play just for the fun of it. You use your favorite weapons, favorite perks, favorite attachments and rarely mix things up. You don't take the game too seriously and you don't care what anyone else says about you, because you're just playing for fun and you think others take the game too serious.

Tourist:
You like to travel. You move around, but you also like to take time out and take in the "scenery". There is no area on the map you haven't visited, nor is there any building or camping spot that you haven't stayed in.

Halo Hopper aka The Leaping Idiot
You play like this is Halo and you jump around, use shotguns like nuts, try no scoping whenever possible, and throw your grenades as if you could pick more up later. You also get many of your kills by hitting people with frags/special grenades. You only play this because this is what your friends started playing. 90 percent of the killcams you are on is because you tried to leap like an idiot and get folded in midflight. Live or die, this is your style fo’ life yo!

Rainbow One:
You are so used to Rainbow Six Vegas, that burst/fully automatic guns are your specialty and you tend to use cover and corners as much as possible. You also haven't grasped the concept of wall penetration and often give up on a kill if it runs and hides away. Team tactics are your friend, but you are often left the worst on your team. You love smoke grenades and night vision, even when not needed.

2 Attakimbo Slice:
2 Attachments and/or Akimbo are your new favorite toys. Whether you're sneaking around using a dot sight with a silencer, or blasting away with dual FMGs, you just love these new additions and use them as often as you like. Even if you're playing poorly, you'll stick with them because they're so much fun.

Air Defense:
Nothing survives long in the air while you are in the game. If you are not running with a Stinger in your class and an Air Support Killstreak reward is called in you will kill yourself (usually with a grenade) and respawn with your class equipped with the Stinger. Your team mates love you and the enemy hates you. You live to hear the warble of the lock on tone. You are the original 'No Fly Zone' Warrior.

WHAT WOULD HAVE MADE THE COD OF DUTY SERIES RULE?

PART I-Personal Defense Rifle (PDR) Class, why are they nonexistent?

Why am I writing this blog. Well, I bumped into this jackass on YouTube with the screen name PoisonBlade415 and he said to me when I posted on this page:
How to earn 48,000 XP in 1 game without a single kill MW3 Leveling Tip How to Level Up Fast Guide. (By the way, I’m trolling this page heavy.) “already has more guns and attachments than any other call of duty game. quit being greedy.” WHAT? YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MANY GUNS!

At 2:53 in the video he makes the comment “Just a few tips about this strategy (YOU’RE GONNA LOVE WHAT HE SAYS NEXT! WHATAMORON!). Now you’ll notice that on the enemy team (remember, he’s playing CRAPINATION, Oh! I’m sorry, that would be DOMINATION for you folks who just love that mode) that there is a full team of players that are non-prestigers (someone how has not prestiged in MW3), um…very new players, obviously I wouldn’t be doing this against an enemy team that was that uh, you know…strong?” <<<What a fucking pogue man!

TO THE MODERN WARFARE AND BLACK OPS GAMING WORLD, I WANT TO THANK INFINITY WARD, SLEDGEHAMMER GAME, AND TREYARCH TO FORCE THOSE WHO WISH NOT TO PRESTIGE IN PREVIOUS TITLES TO BE AWARDED PRESTIGE COINS FOR UPCOMING TITLES. YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS. I AM NOT BUYING BLACK OPS 2 BECAUSE I’M TIRED OF BEING A PART OF YOUR CASH COW! FUCK…THE FUCK…OFF, AND THEN TAKE FIVE STEPS BACK AND FUCK OFF SOME MORE, THEN WHEN YOU LOOK OVER YOUR SHOULDER WALKING AWAY FROM ME, YOU CAN FUCK OFF EVEN MORE! NOW FUCK OFF!

Yet, I digress, what was I talking about? Oh yeah…Adding PDRs to MW3.
Well, this isn’t going to happen since their shit ass Season of Content is over.

The Personal Defense Rifle or PDR for short is classified as:
A special type of weapon between Assault Rifles and Submachine Guns. They are small, allowing for better maneuverability compared to ARs, but they also use high caliber bullets, for more firepower compared to SMGs.

Now, let’s bring this “Class” so to speak into the Modern Warfare experience.
As a WHOLE DIFFERENT class of CQC weaponry, these snub nosed barrel having, CQC dominating, high velocity caliber (4.6mm - .50 Caliber (See .50 Beowulf), SPECOP laden weapons could have been added to the standard weapon’s categories to choose from.

Most PDRs (Modern Warfare Classifies these as an SMG (the AK74u which fires a 5.45x39mm round…is a PDR folks, not…an SMG) fire the same caliber round as its sister weapon in the family of assault rifles, but within a more compact frame.

Now riddle me this Batman? Why aren’t these weapon classes in Modern Warfare 3? Oh, that’s right, Black Ops 2 is RIIIIIIGHT around the corner, the Season of Content is over and they say, “There is not enough memory for a weapon’s pack, it would just glut up our mainframes.”

Well geniuses, this is where you failed the gaming community yet again.
Let’s look at the number of primary weapons available to each class in the gamer’s MW3 inventory:

Assault rifle class - 10
Sub Machinegun class - 6
Light Machinegun class - 5

Sniper/DMR Rifle class - 6

Shotgun class - 6

(I’m not even including the last, it’s stupid to have in a game period!)Now, my primary area of interest here is the SMG class and the addition of a PDW class of weapons.

If I was in charge of Infinity Wards weapons concept team, I’d have included this very class to choose from.
“Well why Horse, what’s so special about have a PDR class when in close quarters you already have the SMG, don’t you think game balance would be thrown out the window?”

My answer is no.
Why?
They have a mildly shorter range as their primary mission function is in the Close Quarter Battle/Combat (CQB/C) role of the fire team. Most Personal Security Details (PSDs) will use a either an SMG or PDR. I’ve also noted that SRT (Special Reaction Team) and HRT (Hostage Rescue Team), and SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) Teams use the PDR in a primary role. They favor the same stopping power that sometimes an SMG (unless the utilization of a head shot) cannot deliver that an AR will because of the advent of body armor that barricaded “Tangos” may use.

Let’s look at a few PDRs that can be and have been configured into a CQC version of a the modern PDR:

From Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and Ghost Recon Future Soldier
HK416 CQC 5.56mm
FN SCAR CQC 5.56mm
FN SA58 OSW 7.62mm
M8 CQC 5.56mm
Barrett 468/REC7 (Reliability Enhanced Carbine) 5.56 & 6.8mm (Same as the Remington ACR)
Enfield L22A2 CQC
Magpul PDR-C 5.56mm
AK74u 5.54mm

You’re looking at eight new classes dedicated to the close to mid-range combat roll. If you look at the proficiencies and attachments of the AR class, PDRs would follow in the same realm of class awards and proficiencies. With the size of maps on MW3, their maximum effective range will be dramatically shorter than that of their bigger sisters, yet, in the offensive mode for those who favor a rush/run and gun style of gameplay, it would open up another distinct set of levels to accomplish. Per Robert Downing at E3 of 2011, “If you want extended mags, earn it, an ACOG scope, earn it.” Gun ranking would be the same as the AR class, but, what would the optics be? You wouldn’t put an ACOG scope on a PDR, or would you? Could you put a HMMR scope in relation to where the ACOG would be?

PDRs would also start out with 30 rounds vs. 20 for the AR. Why? Because in the PDR role, you need that extra round count, and it affords the gamer less time to deal with a reload. And when the award of Extended Magazines is given, the gamer will have 45 rounds to play with.

In all practicality, the addition of this class would have given the gamer a broader range of firepower to choose from. What would have been the damage and head shot multipliers on these platforms (DM/HSM)? They would have made an excellent addition to the “Overkill” class. A sniper with the range to reach across the map would favor a weapon with more stopping power than a fallback SMG correct? Of course they would. A gamer with the Tactician/Strategist (we’ll cover that in another blog), having the ability to use Overkill with an AR and a PDR would be one bad ass challenge to even the most seasoned Pubstar to Pro.

Even if the PDR is used in the primary role, it can be deadly with the Sleight of Hand, Assassin, and any third tier perk set. Even using a combination of Blind Eye Pro, Assassin Pro, and SITREP pro to hear the oncoming enemy and pinpoint his location for a quick and effective kill from behind, the PDR would be the good choice.

It would put a whole new facet of tactics to the game. How to approach, who to engage, etc.

Now let’s talk game balance. I personally believe that having this as an option would not make the SMG class obsolete at all as the ROF is consistent with the AR and up close with the DM an SMG will have a small advantage if fired from the hip using Steady Aim Pro and would be a good battle between the Combat Shotgun (CSG) as well.

Why I am so vehement to write this blog? Because I am a fan of the COD series. But so much has been left out. I see so many other games using them in the “Classes” they are used in. I get fucking bored using the same old fucking guns man!

I could go through the maps and the significance of their versatility, but that would add about 300 lines of script I don’t really want to write. (I really need to get a video camera and start putting this on YouTube.)

Now why did I just write all that I just did.

Because I’m not the only one who feels this way about being fucked over by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Studios.

PART II

New “Accessories” to Weapon Classes and How they should be earned. (Why is there not a Selector Switch on ANY weapon in any COD game?)
So here I am, one day a few weeks ago, watching BLOPS 2 being played in Germany at Gamescon 2012. They sit down with the BLOPS 2 studio head, David Vonderhaar, and go over what accessories the weapons classes have. The one accessory that stood out to me, is that you have to ADD a selector switch to your weapon.

Now folks, I don’t know who they’re talking to okay? But I know it’s not a gun expert. That’s for damn sure. If there is military consultation, they need to be fired. Straight up fired. And bring myself, and a few other gun guys in and tell them the proper way to utilize this functionality. So, I’ve got to burn up a slot just to have a SELECTOR switch on my PRIMARY MILTIARY GRADE ASSAULT RIFLE WHICH IN MY MILITARY CAREER I NEVER SAW I HAD TO “ADD ON” TO MY GUN WHEN IT WAS ALREADY BUILT THE FUCK INTO IT! YOU JACKASSES!!!!

To give your gaming community the best overall interface with their weapons (as does the SpecOps community), they will have their weapons modified and put their platform together to meet the mission requirement instead of “GEARDOing” it out (putting so much shit on your PRail that your gun is too damn front heavy and slow to shoulder to bear on target).

Now of all the games that have this weapon (SOPMODing) to a science, it’s GRAW Future Soldiers Gunsmith Function.
GHOST RECON FUTURE SOLDIER GUNSMITH FUNCTION

IW/SH/Treyarch, you should have gone and done something like this. You really should have. (I’ll get to the Firing Range function in another blog.)

So what is available to the player from GR-FS afforded vs. the player from MW3 afforded?

Let’s start out with MW3.

When you go to create your class you choose:
Primary Weapon
Proficiency
Attachments
Camouflage

Secondary Weapon
Attachment

Equipment
Lethal
Tactical

Perks

Strike Package

Deathstreak (AKA HORSESHIT!)

Now let’s look at this okay? In my MW3 ASSAULT class this is how it’s set up:
Primary - ACR 6.8
Proficiency - 2 Attachments
Attachments - RDS & Xmags
Camouflage - Classic

Secondary Weapon - TMP9

Attachment - XMags

Equipment
Lethal - Bouncing Betty
Tactical - Trophy System

Perks - Blind Eye Pro/Assassin Pro/SITREP Pro

Strike Package
5 - Predator Missile
7 - Attack Helicopter
12 - Pavelow

Deathstreak - Hollow Points (I don’t use those other pussy bitchfist Final Stand/Martyrdom/Dead Man’s Hand bullshit

So there it is, now if I want to test fire my ACR and TMP9, I have to back out and go into a private match and can’t shoot at nothing but walls and barrels and cars and all that bullshit OR, I can play Survival to see how hard it hits and what not.
Because we all know that ELITE says one thing, my rule is shoot em until the points come up. No matter how many rounds it takes!

Now folks, this will be your loadout, not matter what faction you end up on while playing MW3s MP environment.

I don’t really mind this, I don’t. But to be in all honesty, I’ve never seen a 3d world skinny with Western SpecOps technology in their hands…EVER! So, that’s what I’ve got to give credit to UBISoft for. There are only two factions (Team Ghost and Team Bodark)
Let’s look at GHOST RECON FUTURE SOLDIER Okay?

When you put together a Class for GRFW you have do it this way.

1. Choose your team

2. Choose your *class
*In GRFS,  you have three choices for your class, Rifleman, Engineer, Scout.

3. Choose your loadout

Depending on the class you choose, you have to build your loadout.
I could sit here and type this all out, but there you can go to the following links:

1.
GHOST RECON FUTURE SOLDIER CHARACTER CREATION (TO INCLUDE WEAPON AND EQUIPMENT LOADOUT)
2.
GHOST RECON FUTURE SOLDIER *WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT LIST
(*Inspired my previous blog about addition of PDRs to Modern Warfare)
3.
GHOST RECON FUTURE SOLDIER GUNSMITH AND TEST RANGE

The two main focus points for me is (and almost all of the gamers I talked to who play GRFS and MW3) the consensus of us was “Why didn’t IW/SH think of this first?” This would have been so bad ass? Right?!?

Talking point:
GUNSMITH

The Gunsmith function, when you break it down and if you were like me and bought the pre-order, you were afforded a bunch of extra guns, accessories, facemasks, etc…right? VERY COOL SHIT!
When, you say pre-order an IW/SH/Treyarch game you get…A map or you pay upwards to 100 bucks to have an Elite membership. (Dumbest thing I’d ever done by the way, now I’m addicted to Elite, like I am to Gunsmith! Joyous!)

Yet, I digress.
With all of the attachments, there are 100s of thousands of variations to set up your primary and secondary classes.
What I also like is not only do you have a primary and a secondary, you can fall back to the pistol if that’s all you have left. Awesome! There’s so much more to this way of putting together your class, because it restricts you to choose a class. Not just because you choose a Sniper/DM Rifle, your Ghilly suit just doesn’t pop on.

Talking point:
Why isn’t a Fire Selection command not afforded to Modern Warfare 3 and future installments of Modern Warfare?

Like GRAW/RB6 and the Medal of Honor series, There is an action button to change your rate of fire (ROF). In GHOST RECON up to Advanced Warfighter 2, you held down A and then selected your ROF depending the weapon you had (minus fully automatic LMGs) meaning, you could go from Semi to Fully Automatic or to Burst depending on the platform.

*Sidenote-Now in GR-FS though, if you’ve got the M14EBR/DMR and with the new advent of the Full Auto trigger, that gun, the MK14 EBR is a fully automatic MONSTER!

In MW3, they have “Rapid Fire” on the MK14? WHY!? It’s not fully automatic, the rapid fire is more like the match trigger in GRFS. What a fucking joke!

I still, to this day, do not understand why IW/SH/Treyarch have the spray and pray function in their games, but I guess to each his own.

Now though, in BLOPS 2, Treyarch (I want to slap these fucking people man, I really do.), have made it to where you have to use a slot to put a selector switch on your weapon? So you can fire it semi/auto/burst? What a fucking joke.

HEY EUGENE (STONER) I KNOW, WE’LL MAKE IT WHERE YOU HAVE TO ATTACH THIS SELECTOR SWITCH ONTO THE SIDE OF YOUR GUN THAT YOU’RE DESIGNING SO THOSE SERVICEMEN WILL BE ABLE TO FIRE THEIR GUN AT WHATEVER ROF THEY CHOOSE!

WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? I’M BUILDING IT INTO THE GUN SO THEY CAN CHOOSE WHEN TO CONSERVE AMMUNITION AND WHEN TO RAIN HELL ON THE ENEMY.

OH…GOOD POINT.

YOU KNOW TREYARCH, I THINK I ALREADY SAID IT BEFORE, BUT WHAT KIND OF LAZY PROGRAMMING ARE YOU DOING? JUST USE THE D PAD TO DO IT. JUST PRESS ON THE LEFT D PAD AND BOOM, SEMI, FULL AUTO/BURST FIRE…DONE…YOU DON’T HAVE ANY COMMANDS GOING FROM IT ANYWAY! EVERYTHINGS ON THE A/B/X/Y BUTTONS, ANOLOGUES, BUMPERS AND TRIGGERS! IT’S UM…NOT HARD I’M SURE TO JUST PUT THAT ONE LITTLE SOURCE OF PROGRAMMING IN THERE.

JACKASSES!

PART III
FIRING RANGES INSTEAD TO TEST FIRE YOUR GUN IN MODERN WARFARE/BLACK OPS SERIES OF GAMES

Did you just see the blog I’ve written about how the Modern Warfare/Black Ops Series plays out?
Every time I want to test fire a gun, I have to go into a private match, create a class and then just “shoot at a wall” to see what the bullet spread from the standing, kneeling, and prone firing positions.

This is why I LOVE GRFS’ Gunsmith. You can put your platform together, then bring it to the range and it will TELL you by color coded definition how many rounds it will take to drop your opponent at a given distance. Then if that configuration isn’t working for you, go back to Gunsmith, do it again, go back to the range and if  you like it, voila, there’s your gun for the mission or MP.

But noooooooooooo…they couldn’t (IW/SH/TA) do that for us. But had they thought of it first, they could have done it.

Jackasses…again!

So I’m going to end it with this.

Infinity Ward/Sledgehammer/Treyarch, your games, have NOWHERE TO GO! Nowhere!

At least Ubisoft, Red Storm, and Dice Studios, know what the fuck they’re doing. You on the other hand, have to HALO-IZE Modern Warfare. Thanks….you dolts!
